Marketing Consultancy
Clearer marketing, stronger communications, better connection with the people who matter.
I work with charities and purpose-led organisations that need experienced marketing support without necessarily needing a full-time marketing team.
My role can flex depending on what you’re looking for. I can help you work out your marketing strategy and priorities, sharpen your brand messaging, plan campaigns and launches, develop content, or bring together and manage external specialists.
I bring experience across marketing, communications, content, brand and client relationships, but I’m not interested in producing marketing for the sake of it. I want to understand what you’re trying to achieve, who you need to reach and what will actually make a difference.
That might mean coming in for a specific project, providing ongoing consultancy, or acting as a senior marketing lead alongside your existing team and suppliers.
You can commission me for:
- marketing and communications strategy
- campaign and launch planning
- brand and messaging
- content strategy
- project leadership
- ongoing consultancy
Community Development
Turning ideas into projects that people can genuinely be part of.
Community projects can sound a bit wishy-washy or a nice-to-have, but what I do adds measurable value. I design, develop and deliver community projects that bring people together, create opportunities to participate and help organisations build stronger connections with the communities they serve.
There isn’t a standard format because communities aren’t standard. My projects have included community events, creative programmes, oral history and storytelling, wellbeing activities, local publications, heritage projects and large-scale participation campaigns.
I can take a project from an initial idea through to delivery, or come in to strengthen a particular part of it. That can include developing the concept, engaging local people and partners, designing activities, coordinating contributors and creatives, managing delivery and finding ways to capture and share the stories that emerge.
My approach is participatory rather than simply delivering something to a community. I’m interested in what people already know, care about and can contribute, and in creating projects that give them meaningful ways to shape what happens. Previous projects include 60 Miles Presents Community Comics, The Big Lunch and The Happy Hood, spanning creativity, heritage, storytelling, wellbeing and community connection.
You can commission me for:
- project design and development
- community engagement
- creative participation
- project management and delivery
- events
- storytelling and oral history
- partnership working
- community-led initiatives
Not sure which one you need?
