People think that social media is easy. Stick up a snap and some words, done and dusted.
But understanding your audience, who you want to target, what day of the week and time of day to post, what hashtags work best, is hard work. That’s without thinking of your tone of voice, image, video or caption. I could go on!
Luckily, Kall Kwik saw the value of investing in support and now have an engaged audience and a beautiful grid. Check out @kallkwik_nn on Insta if you don’t believe me.
I first decided to work with Laura for our social media as I was already aware of her dedication to other projects and loved her sense of community. Knowing that my social media needed some direction and meaningful content, I sought out a freelancer to help as I didn’t want the initial ‘distraction’ to fall on myself or other staff members.
The brief I gave Laura was to help establish a process and efficient way to present ourselves on social media that would keep the content fresh and engaging, while also shouting about our practice, ethics, and the importance of eco conservation.
I’ve felt so supported by Laura, and really appreciate the way she’s able to generate ideas with such little input initially. Our social media now has more of an identity, so much so that it now informs the messages and advertising I display in the shop! If you’d like to work with someone that is able to seamlessly fit your organisation and make life so easy then work with this woman. If you don’t, are you a masochist?!
